Hopefully this cooperation would help PT MRT Jakarta improve its performance. With the GCG being applied within the scope of PT MRT Jakarta, it is expected that all acts of corruption and irregularities in the corporate would be eliminated, so that MRT Jakarta project would be accomplished on time and on budget transparency. "We want to be open, to be transparent. We want all stakeholders to follow our steps. With GCG, we want to uphold the values of honesty, transparency, and accountability," he asserted.
In addition to the MoU signing, the board of directors and commissioners has also signed an integrity pact for board manuals and free of conflict of interest statement. Through the integrity pact, PT MRT Jakarta wants to declare its commitment to truly implement GCG guidelines, codes of conducts and a proportional reward and punishment system in the working environment of the company owned by DKI Jakarta Administration.

"Through this pact, the corporation asks all officials and employees of PT MRT Jakarta to agree with the integrity pacts and codes of conduct, and to be consistent and responsible in implementing these values in the efforts of building moral integrity," he said.

PT MRT Jakarta Director of Corporate Functions, Eddi Santosa, added that these values will not only be adopted within the scope of PT MRT Jakarta, but also to a third party engaged in the project of MRT Jakarta. "A company must start with high moral value. It has been agreed among our stakeholders. We try to make everything to comply with the GCGC, "said Eddi. Under the supervision of the BPKP, PT MRT Jakarta will have its performance assessed.

DKI Jakarta BPKP Chief Representative, Maliki Heru Santosa, said that BPKP will assist PT MRT Jakarta in carrying out all of its duties and responsibilities according to the GCG. Supervision would mostly be in the form of preventive action, which is how the management can carry out their duties with a good system and governance to prevent the occurrence of both administrative and budget irregularities. "We will audit the performance of PT MRT Jakarta to help them improve their work effectiveness and efficiency," said Maliki.
