PT MRT Jakarta has conducted the Extraordinary Shareholders General Meeting ("Meeting") on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, as part of our mandate to provide a transparent and accountable process for strategic decision making in this company.

The meeting is chaired by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Bapak Fauzi Bowo, as representative of our majority shareholders. PD Pasar Jaya as our 2nd shareholder also attends the Meeting. The Meeting has concluded and approved:

1. Team Structure, Budget and Work plan of the PT MRT Jakarta

2. Grand Design and Basic Approach for the selection and appointment of the definitive director of PT MRT Jakarta

Bapak Fauzi Bowo, shows his high commitment about the execution of MRT Project in Jakarta through inquiries and input for the members of meeting, especially about policies and set of decisions that must be taken by the DKI Jakarta provincial government and also decisions that must be made together with the national government.

For these reasons, the Governor, has decided to reassign the team who responsible to develop PT MRT Jakarta (Governor Decree 916/2007) as the Assistance Team for PT MRT Jakarta, to smooth up any high level decision making process.
